Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shipping worldwide.

Big pipe.
Tight radius.
Bent right

Heat induction bending, coiling and cold bending for the pipe most shops turn away, from refinery piping to the overhead structures holding up highway signs across the country.

Pick the process that fits the pipe

Wall thickness, radius, material and schedule decide the method. Send us the drawing and our team will tell you which one, and why.

Induction Bending

A narrow band of pipe is heated by induction coil and bent in one continuous pass. Large diameters, heavy walls, minimal ovality and thinning.

Induction capabilities

Helical Coiling

Continuous coils for boilers, heat exchangers and process heaters, wound to your pitch and diameter with consistent spacing from first turn to last.

Coiling capabilities

Cold Bending

Rotary draw bending at room temperature for tighter radii on smaller diameters, structural shapes and production runs that need repeatability.

Cold bending capabilities

One shop, from half an inch to forty-two

American Pipe Bending has bent pipe and tube in north Tulsa since 1987. The range runs from 1/2″ O.D. 16 gauge through 42″ outside diameter with wall thickness up to 4″, in single and multiple out-of-plane bends, round or to a shape you specify.

Very few shops in the United States bend at the top of that range. That is why most of our work arrives from outside Oklahoma. A buyer with a 36 inch heavy-wall bend on a critical path runs out of options fast, and we are one of the places left.

The same floor also runs fourteen cold bending machines for the smaller, higher-volume work. One purchase order can cover both ends of a job, which saves splitting it between two shops with two schedules.

We are an A.S.M.E. code shop holding the U and S stamps. Bends leave here against ASME B31.1, B31.3 and B31.4, along with ANSI, AWWA and PFI-ES24. Testing follows your specification, not ours.

How we verify a bend sets out what that means in practice, and the capability page lists every size, wall and material in one table.
