American Pipe Bending is among a small group of United States pipe bending operations that can handle pipe up to 42 inches in outside diameter, from 1/2″ O.D. 16 gauge through 42″ O.D. with 4 inch wall thickness, in single and multiple out-of-plane bends.
The company was founded in Tulsa in 1987 and has stayed in the same business since: bending and coiling pipe and tube for people who build things that carry pressure, heat or load. Our work does not end when the bend leaves the floor. We stand behind every bend and coil until the customer has what they ordered. As the shop puts it, the sun never sets on one of our bends.

100,000 square feet under roof and crane
The plant sits centrally in the United States, which is the practical reason a Gulf Coast refinery and a Great Lakes boiler shop can both use us. It runs to 100,000 square feet under roof and overhead crane on more than 11 acres.
The floor is laid out to bend and coil by both cold and hot electric heat induction, and to handle tube and pipe extrusions and shapes. In-plant stress relieving means a bend does not have to leave the building to be heat treated, and cranes with 20 feet of under-hook clearance mean a 40 foot section can be turned without a second yard.

American Pipe Bending is an A.S.M.E. code shop holding the U and S stamps, and meets or exceeds ASME, ANSI, AWWA and PFI-ES24 standards for induction bending.
