Pipe and Tube Bending for Agriculture
Irrigation, grain handling and equipment tube, in quantity and to a price.
What agricultural work brings to a bending shop
Irrigation mains and risers, grain handling sweeps and spouting, equipment frames and guards, and the structural tube inside implements and handling systems.
Agricultural work is mostly production work, and production work is a repeatability problem. The first bend is easy; the four hundredth being identical is the job. Fourteen cold bending machines means a run can sit on a dedicated setup instead of sharing one machine with everything else in the shop, which is what keeps both the price and the delivery date honest.
Codes and standards: Usually an OEM or customer specification rather than a pressure code, with fit and repeatability mattering more than certification. Send your project specification with the enquiry and we will confirm in writing what we certify against before anything is cut.
Grain handling is a wear problem
Grain moving at speed abrades the outside of every turn, the same way an industrial conveying line does. A long-radius sweep spreads that over a much greater length of wall than an elbow, and it is the reason handling systems specify sweeps.
Tell us what is being moved along with the size and the radius. An abrasive product changes the wall thickness conversation completely.
What to send with a agricultural enquiry
Five numbers describe a bend: outside diameter, wall thickness, centerline radius, bend angle and the tangent length on each end. Add the material and the quantity and the job can be priced. A drawing, a sketch or a photograph of a marked-up print all work, and the quote form takes an attachment up to 25 MB.
For production work, send the annual quantity along with the part. It changes the tooling decision and it changes the price per piece more than anything else on the drawing. If you are matching a part you already buy, a sample or a photograph with dimensions marked is usually faster than waiting for a drawing.
Put the documentation requirements in the enquiry rather than in a later email. Material test reports, non-destructive testing and heat treatment all cost money and time. Retrofitting a documentation package onto a bend that has already been made is slow, and sometimes it is impossible.
Materials we bend
If the grade you need is not listed, ask. This is what comes through most often, not a limit.
What we can bend for you
How we would make it
Wall thickness, radius, material and schedule decide the process. Send the drawing and we will tell you which one fits.
Heat Induction Bending
Cojafex induction bending up through 42″ O.D. and 4″ wall, in any radius, angle or plane.

Rotary draw bending on fourteen machines, with mandrels and wiper shoes where the radius needs them.

Do you do production runs?
Yes. Fourteen cold bending machines means a production run can sit on its own setup rather than sharing one machine with the rest of the shop. Send the annual quantity along with the part, because it changes the tooling decision.
Can you bend galvanized pipe?
Tell us at enquiry stage. Galvanizing behaves differently under both draw and heat, and whether it is bent before or after coating changes the answer.
Can you match a part we already buy?
Usually. Send a sample, a drawing or a photograph with the dimensions marked and we will work back from it.

Have a drawing? Send it over.
Send a drawing or a sketch and our team will get back to you with a quote.
